Russia’s Promobot to equip US schools with temperature terminals
MOSCOW, Sep 8 (PRIME) -- Russian tech company Promobot will equip more than 150 schools in the country and some in the U.S. with temperature screening terminals in 2020, Director for Development Oleg Kivokurtsev told PRIME on Tuesday.
“We see how urgent the problem of quick and safe temperature screening at the school entrance is. This is why we offer a solution to avoid 30-minute lines, terminal Promobot Thermocontrol. Our stations are installed in schools in Moscow, Perm, Surgut, and Angarsk. They are being tested in a dozen of other schools,” Kivokurtsev said.
“By the end of the year, we’re going to equip more than 150 Russian schools in Moscow and the Moscow Region, the Perm Region, the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District, the Tyumen Region, and other regions.”
The executive also said that some 60 Promobot terminals work in schools in the cities of Philadelphia and New York, the states of Virginia and Maryland. “In 2020, we’re going to supply the U.S. with at least 200 stations for schools in total,” he said.
